    100% ORIGINAL!!! EXTREMELY RARE ITEM!!
    This is circa 1962-1989 Communist Romanian Army officer's dress or parade dagger/dirk fighting knife 12-1/2-inch-long overall with a chrome-plated steel blade 8 inch long. This dress dagger comes from the period of ruthless Communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu's regime.
    Double-edged dull steel blade; mother of pearl handle, brass hardware; brass scabbard; excellent condition, with some normal signs of wear due to the passage of time.
    The push-button mechanism to release the dagger from the scabbard works fine, the scabbard is in excellent condition. A great addition to the collection of any history buff and/or knife collector.
    This dagger belonged to a naval officer in the rank of colonel.
