To learn the sensor IDs when replacing sensors, a properly formatted diagnostic tester is required.

The universal TPMS reset tool U508 "wakes up" the TPMS sensors (tire pressure monitoring system) attached to the wheel of the vehicle.
This article can perform all functions of EL50448 OTC-5 for GM, TPMS19 for Ford, function like ATEQ AT06 scanner.
FUNCTION
The U508 sends an RF signal to the TPMS sensor attached to the vehicle wheel to "wake up" the sensor. As soon as the tool triggers the sensor, the sensor is ready to communicate with the vehicle's ECU.
INSTRUCTIONS
Hold the tool next to the tire sidewall over the sensor and hold the button to trigger the sensor (you can also press the tool directly against the tire sidewall). An orange light illuminates on the tool.
Keep the button pressed until the signal transmission to the control unit, the diagnostic station of the vehicle or the horn of the vehicle "beeps".
