    Description

You see a rather rare instrument. This bass guitar was made back in the days of the USSR in Armenia, which was then part of the Soviet Union. The factory in Yerevan, where this guitar was made, was a fairly handicraft production, there was a large share of manual labor. Therefore, each guitar was individual in detail. In total, a little more than 1000 such guitars were made. They almost never entered the market, but were distributed among schools and other musical organizations. After the collapse of the USSR, these old instruments were often thrown away. Therefore, now there are very few of them.
A little about the characteristics of the guitar: neck without truss, beech. The fingerboard may be from local wood. The pickups are weak, about 5 kOhm each. Volume and tone control for two pickups at once. Scale - 810 mm. The bridge is not secured, it can be moved. Adjusting the height of the strings is possible only for all strings at once.
Now about the instrument for sale. The guitar is in excellent cosmetic and technical condition. It is clean and well appointed. (I don't often put guitars on sale, but they are always in near-perfect condition.)
Photos distort the true color a little. She is black. This paint is called "stardust" - that is, gold glitter is present in the paint. It looks like dust in the photo, but it's such paint. The mechanics and electrics work great. The tuning holds, the potentiometers do not crackle. The guitar was released in 1974, so, of course, there are traces of the life lived. These are abrasions on the body, which are invisible, worn out nickel on the bodies of the pickups. Although it is more of a collection instrument, it is quite playable. That is, the guitar is live).
For the photographs, I put on really bad strings. I see no point in sending them. Also, to reduce the cost of transportation costs, the guitar will be sent with the neck removed. This instrument will be a great addition to your collection or a new vintage sound in your musical endeavors.
