Rare directly heated AF triode " RRAF OMT ", Marconi, Italy, tested "very good"
Description
RRAF :
AF amplifier triode with
barium-coated filament,
directly heated with 4,0 VDC, 0,08 Amp., usable in AF amplifier stages and low-medium power output stages . The RRAF is more or less similar to the L408 triode made by ZENITH, Italy, accoding to *). The tube offered was produced by Marconi, Genova/Italy and wears a banderole of the Italian Financial Authority, dated 9-1-41,  that means, it is intended for the use by public (military?) authorities.
Condition:
The tube is unboxed, used, but in good condition, without any visible mechanical or electrical defects and without gas. The imprints on the bulb clearly visible.
Emission and gm test:
Using U_plate =  150 VDC, U_g1 = -3,0 Volts, U_h = 4,0 VDC;  - U_plate connected to - U_h
Results:

I_plate = 6,1 mA = 122% of 5,0 mA, the index (100%) value according for the L408 according to *)
