This beautiful original master violin is an especially beautiful german instrument made by Curt Jung, pupil of famous Otto Möckel. It was made in Berlin and it bears the original label "Curt Jung fecit Berlin 1938 nach der Paganini Jos. Guarn. del Gesu". The glossy varnish is a rich oil varnish of an intensely shining bright golden orange brown color. The varnish that bears skillfully made antique touches and imitates the famous Cremonese varnish strikingly is of premium quality remains in great condition. The fine quality woods are fine quality fine grained spruce for the top, the two piece back of strongly flamed maple with matched scroll and ribs. This powerful yet warm and radiant sounding violin is preserved in excellent condition, with some professionally repaired cracks on top.
