1934 begann Montblanc mit der Produktion von Kolbenfüllern,
1935 erfolgte die Umstellung auf das neue dreistellige Nummernsystem und neue Formen.
Die Modelle der III. Serie hiessen 331 (Reflex), 332, 334, 333 1/2, und 334 1/2 .
