Antonin Nesesany worked for him. Pavel Krček was also a pupil and a journeyman from 1924 to 1934. In 1930–1934 he was taught by Karel Nosál, who then worked with him as a journeyman until 1944. In 1944–1947 he was taught by Josef Skalský, who worked for him until 1950. In 1945 he was assisted by František Zyka.
He worked according to the models of Guarneri and Stradivari. He only used oil varnish. His work was very meticulous and crafted perfectly.

The upper spruce board is halved with a medium density of years.
The bottom plate is made of one piece of regularly cut maple, the sides and neck are made of the same material.
