Fiat 2300 Luxe

I am selling my 1964 Fiat 2300 Luxe, ex Yugoslawian government vehicle. 1 of 6 official Fiat vehicles used by "Savezno Izvršno Viječe" (federal executive council) of ex Yu. After the car was written off by the "SIV", the driver who used to drive the car officially, bought it privately, plus one more for the parts. This is the only remaining Fiat 2300 government vehicle, known to exist on the Balcans.
The car was on the road until it´s mechanic died in 1980. I bought the car in 1999. There are a lot of spare parts that will be sold together with the car. The car needs a complete interior reupholstering and a new oil for the front brakes and it´s driveable. Front brakes are completely new, together with the new brake hoses and inox brake pistons.. The original Becker radio which was in the car, was used for the communication between all 6 cars in the protocol (the drivers could only listen to the instructions from the police headquarters), will be also given with the car. Please have in mind that the car is not perfect. The Fiat is currently on display at the museum "Ferdinand Budicki" in 22222 Skradin/Croatia and will be ready for the pick up there also.
The car will be sold "where is, as is", without guarantee.
P.S. I forgot to mention that in 1964 the president Gamal Abdel Nasser, during his trip to Yugoslawia, took the trip to the city of Rijeka in this vrey car.
This car was alway the number one car in the protocol(I don't know why), so that was the reason the president Nasser took the trip in this very car.
