Selmer Series 9*   Clarinet –  Boehm –          serial number  X2305  and   X2405  .
This is a lovely Selmer  9*  Boehm Bb clarinet.
The Selmer Series9*   clarinets preceded this Selmer 9-Star.
And the Series 9 (1960’s) clarinets replaced the “Centered Tone” model.
Up through the Series 9* , the Selmer philosophy was to use a large diameter tone hole with no undercutting (straight sided tone holes) and an almost purely cylindrical bore. The larger tone holes do produce a more robust tone, but the twelfths are “short” and tend to be very sharp in the fundamental when playing pianissimo.  The Series 9 (no star) was recommended for Jazz, while the Series 9* was recommended for symphonic work.

Tight-grained Grenadilla wood has no cracks   Nickel-plated keywork in excellent condition.
Older pads and corks are sealing and playing well.The instrument has some signs of wear.
The pads look good,   clarinet  is really in good condition .The tool was also regulated and thoroughly inspected. All older pads are used but in good  playing     condition. Whether you're a jazz or classical player, you'll love this clarinet. Body is in excellent condition. The pads, springs, keys and all corks are in great shape. It needs nothing. All the pads are seated fine. It blows with a beautiful sound from the low E right up to the high tons. Great for jazz,  and classical.
The  , A,  In LA  clarinet9*  didn't need much, just cleaning still has the same good pads .  A,clarinet , one cracks present see picture  in it that was repaired about  years ago  that has not needed additional care.
I try to describe as accurately as possible, but may miss some details or have different opinions about the condition of the goods.

Comes with a heavily nice  Selmer, one mouthpiece and  ligature  and cap.  Also comes with the duble  case for 2 clarineth   . The  double case    does show some wear . The latches work perfectly, though.

Of course it will be packed very well for the transit.
