19th Century Victorian mahogany cased games compendium, the interior comprising a boxwood and ebony chess set, draughts and dominoes, ca. 1870 - 1890
The origin is Austria, the chess set is the well known Vienna Coffeehouse Chess Set.
The Cassette measures ca. 28 x 20 cm x 10 cm. The chess board is ca. 23,5 x 23,5 cm.
Largest piece measures ca. 5,5 cm, Base diameter: 2 cm.
The key is not original, but antique, and serves for optical reasons.
