    This piece of Andamooka Matrix Opal Rough was carbonised. The treatment is permanent.
    This ROUGH matrix opal from Andamooka has been heat-treated and faced so that you can see very clearly the colour bars present in the opal. The opal is wet in the picture with full light , so you can get a good idea of how it will look when polished.
    (If it is dry .... it´s dull ..no sparkels)
