    Description

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT, 2.8l V6 engine, automatic transmission. I bought this car personally in Ohio in August 2018, I drove it on wheels to NJ an shipped it to Poland. Upon purchase it had 66650 original miles and was in very nice original condition but in need of some mechanical restoration. When I brought it home I decided to strip the whole chassis and rebuild suspension, brakes steering and engine. So In general almost every suspension, brake and steering components are new. When I took the drivetrain out of the car I also decided that I will do some detailing to it which ended up with total engine rebuild. It’s a highly equipped example with almost all possibile options – power windows, power mirros, power door locks, removable glass roof, light saddle Pallex cloth interior, leather 3-spoke steering wheel and shifter, A/C, Delco radio (AM/FM with 4 speakers, w/clock, auto rev cassette, seek & scan), cruise control, power engine lid, rear window defroster.
Interior is all original in excellent condition with highly desirable light saddle Pallex cloth upholstery. All original factory carpet and floor mats are in great condition, steering wheel and shifter are excellent and still wearing original leather. Glass is all original. Two tone paint, Bright Red (code 81U) with Medium Gray Metallic (code 18L). Every single part that I have dismounted from the chassis was sand blasted, cataforetic painted and than powder coated black. Every single bolt, nut, washer or bracket was zinc plated so the whole chassis looks brand new. Car is completely stock in great overall condition. I can even say that it is probably one of the nicest original Fiero GT in Europe. Fiero has now 67500 miles (108630km) and counting as I drive once in a while for pleasure. I have all factory brochures, owners manual, do-it-yourself manual, shop manual, radio instruction.

    - fixed temperature gauge wiring so it doesn’t peg upon staring the engine (this is all Fiero factory mistake)
Engine was stripped to the ground and completely rebuild with new parts. Engine block was cleaned and painted with Por15 engine paint, black color. Valve covers and upper intake manifold were powder coated red and polished. Piston and cylinders were in perfect condition with no wear (still factory bore with factory original pistons) and I have replaced piston rings just in case. Crankshaft was machined and all new main and connecting rods were installed, heads rebuild and new valve seals installed. All new pumps, sensors, timing, harmonic balancer and camshaft with hydraulic valve lifters. Rebuild and ported exhaust manifolds for better air flow. Engine cradle was also rebuild, sand blasted, powder coated and fitted with new bushings. Exhaust system is stock and it sounds great!! It has newer catalytic converter mounted by the previous owner.
