Description
Mechanical hand-winding wristwatch conversion from a pocket watch, with rare Omega 10.75’’’ movement (the diameters are ca. 24 mm mounting and 25 mm outside). The conversion comes probably from 1950’s as the case seems to come from a Pobeda watch. The Omega movement itself is much older, the serial No. 3818864 dating it to between 1906 and 1910.The case has some signs of use, plastic crystal with cracks, generic silver colour dial seems OK. For more details see photos in macro mode which make an integral part of the description.
The watch seems to work fine, no guarantee as to the accuracy and power reserve. Recommendation: the movement should be cleaned if you want to use the watch for everyday use!

P.S. The watch would be ideal as a supplier of a good movement for a project or rework of an original watch although it can be worn as it is as well.
The movement should have a seconds hand at 6 o'clock, this particular watch does not have one. I believe that the watchmaker doing the conversion then a) did not bother about a seconds hand because it would make it more complicated to fix the new dial, or b) did not want to show the seconds hand as it would end up at 9 o'clock (because this being a regular open face calibre the winding stem is originally placed at 12 o'clock - after the conversion it is at 3 o'clock), or both a) and b).
