Unboxed, used, but still in good condition
Description LG6:
Rugged vacuum full wave rectifier tube, indirectly heated (12,6 Volts, 0,63 Amp.), intended for power supplies in military equipment (in particular on board of airplanes) during WW2. With an input voltage of 2x 400 VAC the LG6 can deliver continuously
up to 0,1 Amp. output DC at
~ 400 VDC output voltage.

Condition:
The LG6 offered is unboxed and has been used intensively. But it is still in very good condition, apparently free from mechanical and electrical damages and gas, and the electrical functions were tested "ok". The emission is very good.
The plug-in socket shows traces of corrosion more or less, in particular the contact springs for the single pins are looking quite black from corrosion. On the other hand they may be made from argent, and argent oxyde is conductible. I have tested the tube while plugged into it's holder, and it worked!
Tests:
According to the static I_plate/U_plate-curve on the VALVO datasheet a significant point of operation at U_plate = 20 VDC was selected. The corresponding I_plate_(100%) value is approx. 50 mA.
Results:
I_plate_1 = 83,5 mA  =  167 %

I_plate_2 = 85,5 mA  =  171%
